Manchester City’s win over Liverpool leaves Premier League in uncertainty, say Alderweireld and Rooney

Speaking on Match of the Day, Toby Alderweireld and Wayne Rooney discussed why Manchester City’s 3-0 victory against Liverpool leaves the Premier League in an uncertain position.

The uncertainty stems from the fact that Manchester City have been found guilty of financial breaches and are awaiting a potential punishment, which could include a points deduction.

Alderweireld and Rooney described the situation as a bad one, with the club’s result on the pitch creating further complications while the outcome of any sanction remains unclear.
